Welcome to Our New Pastor
Grace United Methodist Church is excited to welcome Rev. Dr. Keck Mowry as our pastor. Keck brings a deep passion for helping congregations rediscover their voice and live out the Gospel in ways that are relevant, hopeful, and life-giving.
With over three decades of ministry experience in New York and Illinois, Keck has guided churches through seasons of transformation—helping them grow in faith, strengthen community ties, and extend God’s love in creative ways. His preaching is thoughtful and inspiring, and his leadership emphasizes collaboration, justice, and joyful witness.
Keck holds a Doctor of Ministry from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, along with degrees from Drew University, the University of Chicago, and Vanderbilt University. He is a lifelong learner who enjoys integrating creativity and technology into ministry.
Above all, Keck is committed to walking alongside the people of Grace UMC as together we seek to embody Christ’s love for Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, North Chicago, and beyond.
