A quick word before you dive into this week’s newsletter.
Last Sunday, I shared the story of Ruth and Naomi, and I’ve found myself returning to what is, for me, one of the most moving passages in Scripture—Ruth 1:16–17:
“Where you go, I will go; where you lodge,
I will lodge; your people shall be my people,
and your God my God.”
These words name a depth of love and commitment that defines what true family can be. They also express the kind of shared, mutual faithfulness we seek to live into as a church community.
As we step into an uncertain year together, know this: I will go where we go, as a people bound together in worship and trust in the same God. We will need one another—and we will walk this path side by side.
God go with us,
Pastor Keck
